The One Ski Hill Place is the real deal when it comes to location, boasting a top spot right on the slopes. With ski-in, ski out access from the base of Peak 8, it’s click in and off you go. Beginners are sorted too, with the forest-bordered beginner area a few steps away. Or, if you’re up for a challenge, the Colorado Superchair will whisk you up to some heart-pumping blacks. When you fancy heading into town, choose between hopping on the gondola or taking the free shuttle bus in.

As for the décor, think classic alpine charm with a modern twist – from the crackling fireplace in the lounge to the exposed wooden beams, with warm tones and comfy furnishings thrown in. When it comes to facilities, you’re spoilt for choice. Take a dip in the heated indoor pool or choose the outdoor hot tub and sit back in the bubbles looking up at snowy peaks. For a cosy night in, catch a film in one of the two movie lounges. Or why not round off the night with some friendly competition at the two-lane bowling alley?

You can add lift passes and equipment hire to your booking before you go. If you need ski or board school, you can book it locally when you get to the resort.
