And it’s good news for beginners and experienced skiers alike – with nursery slopes right at the top of the Bosque lift, as well as connecting lifts that open up Cap de Baqueira mountain and the wider ski area.

The Tuc Blanc itself has an authentic feel, with its local staff and laid-back vibe. The rooms for couples and young families are charming spaces to rest in, and the indoor heated pool and hot tub – as well as the hotel’s bars, sun terrace and lounge area – are all leisurely wind-down options when the day’s skiing is up. For an extra charge you can also treat yourself to a spell in the hotel’s sauna and Turkish bath.
