The ancient Glareys’ house stands in the incomparable valley of Courmayeur, at the foot of the Mont Blanc range. During the years, the building has been transformed from a traditional house into a comfortable hotel. The Hotel Des Glaciers has been running by the Pennards since 1985 and it still maintains a typical Aosta Valley atmosphere taking you back in history, from the XVII century to our days.
The Hotel Des Glaciers (altitude: 1.224 metres) is 250 metres far from the new Dolonne lift (5 minutes on foot), 250 metres from the Forum Sport Centre and only 800 metres from Courmayeur city centre (10 minutes on foot).
Restaurant
From the large windows of the restaurant, you will be overwhelmed by the stunning views of Courmayeur valley, dominated by impressive peaks like Dente Del Gigante and Grandes Jorasses.
The Restaurantis also open to outside Guests. It offers guests a Half Board service (if requested, we offer lunch as well) with innovative recipes and the traditional Aosta Valley cuisine. The refined wine list is at your disposal with an accurate selection of regional wines, perfectly matching with the meals.
The breakfast buffet offers a wide choice: home-made cakes, biscuits, croissants, jams, yogurts, cereals, stewed fruit and juices.

The Hotel Des Glaciers has 17 rooms, all with private bathroom (with shower or bath), telephone, TV colour LCD, mini bar, safe, hairdryer and free internet connection.
Services
The Hotel Des Glaciers offers its Guests: a bar; a nice garden with solarium and with outdoor games for children where you can enjoy your time in a unique environment; free parking and indoor garage; a little museum gathering items collected by the owner’s father, ex alpine guide; a beautiful tavern furnished in a typical alpine style with a fireplace and television where you can relax drinking a good hot chocolate, a tasteful cocktail or a “grolla dell’amicizia”.
Thanks to its central location, all services are very close: the new cabin lift, the Fun Park, the slope taking back to Dolonne, the Forum Sport Centre, the “Courmaclub” disco and the sports shops where you can rent your equipment.
The Hotel Des Glaciers is co-operating with Pré-Saint-Didier (6 km far from the Hotel) and Saint Vincent (60 km far from the Hotel) Spas in order to offer you hours of relax at a favourable rate.
The hotel also offers a comfortable and well-equipped ski room, where after a long and tiring day of sport, you can store your equipment in the lockers and leave safely.
