Residence Le Tikal Val Thorens, France
Getting to and from Residence Le Tikal couldn’t be simpler – these apartments sit right alongside a green run so you can step outside the door and swoosh off. And if you'd rather walk, the lifts and nursery slopes are just a few minutes’ away on foot.
Inside, the apartments are simple and modern, with sleek black furniture and pops of cheery red and orange. They all come with a balcony or terrace so you can look out over the slopes. To stock up on food for the week, stroll over to the connected Temples du Soleil shopping complex, where there’s a supermarket and bakery.
For an extra cost, you’ll get access to the wellness area with a pool and sauna at the Soleil, so make sure you pack your swim things too. Add in a games room and pool table, and your evenings are sorted.

The advantage of booking a self-catered skiing holiday is often the price. The disadvantages mean either eating out, which in a ski resort is often expensive, or it means having to cook your own meals, which probably means less time skiing, and who really wants to shop and then cook an evening meal after a full days skiing?
Huski, the Alps-based catering business offers a great solution, that means you can still enjoy the great value of a ski apartment or self-catered chalet and eat well without the fuss of having to cook your own food.
Huski delivers a week’s worth of dishes, freshly frozen and ready for you to just heat and serve.
Huski catering is only available to properties in French ski resorts.
