Chalet Thovex Val d’Isere, France
Chalet Thovex is a unique luxury chalet in a superb location in the heart of Val d'Isere. Renovated in 2023 the chalet sits harmoniously on the hillside behind the Hotel le Val d'Isere and main street. This delightful mountain chalet combines high-quality modern interiors with a traditional wood and stone exterior topped with the signature local slate. Paired with the outdoor Swedish Bath and Indoor Sauna, this chalet is every bit as luxurious as it looks!
Chalet Thovex is beautifully furnished with 6 stunning bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. On every floor of the chalet you'll find large sunny south-facing balconies to enjoy a clear view of the mountains and resort.
This chalet’s superb location makes this a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a touch of luxury in a convenient location in the resort centre. Enjoy the hustle and bustle of the apres bars, cosy up in front of the fireplace or relax in your private outdoor hot tub before dinner.
Chalet Thovex is in the town centre just off the main street. An easy 5-minute walk will take you to the main lifts and slopes to kick start your day exploring all that Val d'Isere and Tignes has to offer! Whether you're heading to ski school in the morning or exploring the village in the afternoon, the free and frequent resort buses will get you from A to B in no time.
Tourist Tax - Not Included
A tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by local councils in European ski resorts to support the local tourism infrastructure and may include services such as ski buses, subsidised admission to amenities e.g. pools and ice rinks and events such as firework displays. The amount charged varies according to the standard and type of accommodation. It is also not paid by all skiers as it is age-dependent. Therefore it is not included in the basic price of your holiday as we do not have all skiers’ ages at the time of booking.
The advantage of booking a self-catered skiing holiday is often the price. The disadvantages mean either eating out, which in a ski resort is often expensive, or it means having to cook your own meals, which probably means less time skiing, and who really wants to shop and then cook an evening meal after a full days skiing?
Huski, the Alps-based catering business offers a great solution, that means you can still enjoy the great value of a ski apartment or self-catered chalet and eat well without the fuss of having to cook your own food.
Huski delivers a week’s worth of dishes, freshly frozen and ready for you to just heat and serve.
Huski catering is only available to properties in French ski resorts.
