Chalet du Cret Val d’Isere, France
An exceptional, unique, luxury chalet in the exclusive hamlet of Le Crêt, Val d’Isere
Perfectly positioned in a quiet, picturesque corner of the village, Chalet du Crêt is just a five-minute stroll from the exclusive boutiques, bars and restaurants in the village centre.
Lovingly restored over the past two years, this enchanting property has been transformed from a cheese farm run by local monks into one of Val d’Isère’s finest chalets available to rent. Sleeping up to 12 people in six individually designed bedrooms, the chalet is laid out over three floors.
The owners have carefully preserved the original features, including the traditional chapel that nestles in the garden. Inside, clever combinations of old aged stone and exposed beams combined with sumptuous fabrics and furniture have created a beautiful contemporary home whilst maintaining it’s rustic charm.
The chalet is perfect for groups of friends or families, with all the bedrooms having en-suite shower or bathrooms, and all the beds can be made up as twins or doubles. The deluxe master bedroom on the top floor has double height ceilings, as well as a stylish seating area with a desk and private terrace.
Entertaining and relaxing is at the heart of this chalet. The large open plan living and dining area boasts a beautiful, stone fireplace surrounded by comfy sofas with luxurious throws and cushions providing the perfect spot to curl up with a good book before dinner. Sophisticated lighting and fabulous modern art creates the perfect setting for socialising with friends or for enjoying an intimate dinner by candlelight.
For those wishing to break out and enjoy the latest series or movie in peace, retreat to the sumptuous and stylish cinema room. In-front of the screen sits the large L-shaped sofa, whilst retro leather chairs and a desk area provide more space to relax. For kids, there is a den with faux grass, a climbing wall and snug seating area with TV allowing for endless entertainment.
The spa facilities at Chalet du Crêt cater for everyone. An outdoor hot tub and hammam will ensure guests can relax after a day exploring the incredible ski Espace Killy ski area.
The chalet is normally provided with an in-resort driver service when sold on a fully catered basis.

They pride ourselves on their high standards of food and considered selection of house wines. Hospitality begins with a champagne reception and, thereafter, a selection of house wines that have been hand-picked from local vintners are on offer to you during meal times. They hold an extensive wine list and will gladly assist you by providing personally selected wines, which can be ordered prior to your holiday or once you are in resort.
Daily housekeeping is provided throughout the week in both the Classic and Alpine Luxe properties. In their Classic properties, on the staff day off, fresh bread and croissants are delivered and a continental breakfast and afternoon tea is pre-prepared. A full breakfast service is provided throughout the week in their Alpine Luxe properties.
Wednesday is typically the staff day off in Verbier, Zermatt, and Méribel. Thursday is typically the staff day off in St. Anton and Lech. They will offer you advice on resort restaurants and will gladly make a reservation for your group to ensure there is a continuity of fine service.
If your stay coincides with school holidays, please be mindful that restaurants and activities tend to get booked out early, so let us know in advance if there is somewhere special you would like us to make a reservation.
