Santa Terra Residence Tignes, France
These swish apartments are a cut above your standard self-catered stay. Each apartment is decked out with up-to-date furniture, while scatter cushions and flower-filled vases add that proper home-from-home feel. Budding chefs have got everything they need in the fully equipped kitchen, and after supper you can stretch out on the sofa in the lounge area.
You’ll also get some great extra perks to make your stay even more special. Sit back with a coffee and warm your toes by the fireplace in the communal lounge. Or grab your towel for some chill time in the onsite spa area instead – with its pool, sauna and hot tub, it’s just the ticket after big day on the mountain. You can even have baked goodies delivered, so you can breakfast in true French fashion with a warm croissant.
Location-wise, you’re in the hamlet of Brévières, just below the main part of Tignes. Things here are pretty peaceful in the evenings, so it’s a good pick if you simply want to unwind in the evenings. And most importantly, you’re just a short walk from the gondola that’ll take you to the slopes.
When you arrive, you’ll need to pay a deposit of approx. €600 by credit card for each apartment on your booking.
All apartments are non-smoking and have a satellite TV, free WiFi, telephone, hairdryer and a kitchen with an oven, microwave, four hobs, toaster, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. Towels, linen and end-of-stay cleaning (excluding kitchen) are included.
Please note: All beds are made on arrival except sofa beds, though linen is provided.

The advantage of booking a self-catered skiing holiday is often the price. The disadvantages mean either eating out, which in a ski resort is often expensive, or it means having to cook your own meals, which probably means less time skiing, and who really wants to shop and then cook an evening meal after a full days skiing?
Huski, the Alps-based catering business offers a great solution, that means you can still enjoy the great value of a ski apartment or self-catered chalet and eat well without the fuss of having to cook your own food.
Huski delivers a week’s worth of dishes, freshly frozen and ready for you to just heat and serve.
Huski catering is only available to properties in French ski resorts.
