Chalet Alaska is new for the 2023/24 season and is conveniently positioned in the chalet quarter of Les Almes, close to the Lys Martagon and La Perle chalets. It’s just over a minute’s walk to the top of the road where you can put your skis or snowboard on to ski down to the Chaudanne and Paquis high-speed chairlifts giving you access to both sides of the mountain in the morning.
After your day on the mountain, you can ski back to the same point from the Palafour side and you have just 150m to walk to the chalet door.
The chalet is traditional in style with lots of beautiful local stonework and wood throughout the living areas and bedrooms. All bedrooms have ensuite facilities and the sauna and hot-tub further add to the chalet’s appeal for groups and couples alike.
This operator creates and operates all our holidays themselves. They have crafted a package for skiers and snowboarders using our own flights and operate hand-picked chalets which are staffed with our own people, trained to the highest standards.
As a package ski operator, we make your life easy by offering a one-stop shop for buying your chalet holiday. When you buy from us, the whole holiday package is included; flights, transfers and catered chalet accommodation. And we even can add-on great deals on ski extras; lift passes, ski and snowboard hire and tuition.
There is a terrace with hot-tub on the ground floor, a sauna, as well as a fireplace in the lounge.
Coaches will be waiting outside the terminal in Lyon to transfer you directly to Tignes. Usually, you will not have to wait for arrivals from other flights. On the return, you will be transferred directly to Lyon by coach. Transfer time to/from resort is approx. 3 hours under normal conditions.
On arrival in resort, all guests will need to disembark at the central bus station where your bags will be transferred by us to your chalet whilst you make your way on foot the short distance to the chalet with our staff. On departure, the same happens in reverse.

Whilst this property is priced per person, it is only available on whole chalet bookings. If the chalet is under-occupied each empty bed will be discounted by 25%. Extra beds over and above the minimum occupancy are also discounted by 25%.

During those chilly Alpine evenings guests can relax, discuss the days skiing and enjoy restaurant standard levels of hospitality. Enjoy tasty aperitifs and a glass of prosecco by the fire before sitting down for a sumptuous 3 course meal.
Our chalet menus have been carefully designed by our Executive Chef to serve our guests with imaginative, stylishly-presented, great tasting cuisine. Our ingredients are sourced locally whenever possible and all our chefs have a passion for what they create.
Our service includes: 7 days breakfasts, 7 days afternoon tea and cakes, 6 evenings 3 course meals including aperitif, canapés plus wine and coffee.
6 days: Cereals, porridge and yoghurts
1 day: continental breakfast, croissants, bread, tea, coffee and juices
We will always do our very best to cater for special diets. As we are catering at high altitude ski locations during winter, local availability of specialist foods can be limited and may not be available at all. Therefore it is essential you inform us of any special dietary requirements at the time of booking your holiday to help us to help you. There is no supplement for vegetarian or vegan meals. For gluten or dairy free meals there is an extra charge of £29 per person when pre-booked. The in-resort charge is £49 per person.
