Le Hameau du Rocher Blanc Apartments Serre-Chevalier, France
Close to the centre of Chantermerle village in Serre Chevalier, Le Hameau du Rocher Blanc Apartments consist of two complexes, with seven chalet-style buildings housing a total of 80 apartments.
While the two complexes are only 200m apart, both are a few minutes from the ski lifts and bustling resort centre. Or you can jump on the free public shuttle bus.
The Savoyard-style apartments are typical of the region, with a combination of light-wood furnishings and red fabrics to brighten every space. Every apartment is fitted with a kitchenette and either a balcony or terrace, perfect for sitting with a steaming cup of hot chocolate or mulled wine in the evenings and watching the sun set behind the mountains.
When you’re not skiing or snoozing, then take advantage of the indoor pool that’s located in Hameau du Rocher Blanc 1. It’s got huge wrap-around windows, large wooden beams across its vaulted ceiling and lots of sunbeds. You also get one free session in the sauna or steam room per week, so make sure you book yourself in pronto – it's popular.
When you arrive, you’ll need to pay a deposit of approx. €400 by credit or debit card for each apartment on your booking.
All apartments have a fully equipped kitchenette with microwave, fridge, dishwasher, ceramic hobs, coffee machine, toaster and kettle, and a TV. Bed linen, towels and local taxes are included. Optional end of stay cleaning available (kitchen excluded).
Cots and highchairs are available for an extra charge (please request at time of booking).
Ratings are based on the operator's own rating and may not reflect the property's official star rating.
The advantage of booking a self-catered skiing holiday is often the price. The disadvantages mean either eating out, which in a ski resort is often expensive, or it means having to cook your own meals, which probably means less time skiing, and who really wants to shop and then cook an evening meal after a full days skiing?
Huski, the Alps-based catering business offers a great solution, that means you can still enjoy the great value of a ski apartment or self-catered chalet and eat well without the fuss of having to cook your own food.
Huski delivers a week’s worth of dishes, freshly frozen and ready for you to just heat and serve.
Huski catering is only available to properties in French ski resorts.
