Why Ski In Morzine?
The ski resort of Morzine is very popular with the British skiers and snow boarders. Its location, within around an hour of Geneva, makes it a popular choice for both families looking for short transfers and those looking for short breaks. Ski Line offers some great ski deals for short stays but to find the best of these will require you to call our advisors as we are unable to show availability on this web site.
Morzine forms part of the Portes du Soleil ski circuit which includes other popular ski resorts such as Les Gets, Avoriaz, Chatel and Swiss resorts such as Champery and Morgans. The whole ski area covers over 650km of piste.
Morzine and Les Gets are at the far end of the ski area and buying just a local pass will offer most skiers more than enough skiing for a week, but by taking the super Morzine cable you reach the higher ski resort of Avoriaz with its glacier runs.
Morzine has a huge choice of catered ski chalets, many of which are run by smaller independent specialist tour operators, Ski Line also offers many ski hotels and some great slope side apartments.
Most of the runs are tree lined making it ideal if the weather closes in. The mountain restaurants are excellent we particularly recommend the Chez Nannon near the top of the Troncs chair lift.

Intermediates of all levels will love Morzine. There are some great runs between Les Gets and Morzine to keep you smiling all week.

There are some good challenging runs down from Pointe de Nyon and some good black’s off the back of Mont Chery (Les Gets’ smaller mountain that requires a short bus ride or walk, but very quiet even in peak weeks) Advanced skiers and boarders will also want to head for Avoriaz and the rest of the ski area.
Après Ski In Morzine
The night life in Morzine caters well for those looking for late night bars and there is a good selection of restaurants to cater for all tastes. The bars around the base get busy as the slopes start to empty. A favourite with us is the Buddha bar with late night dancing however the choice is endless here!
