Chalet Indiana Meribel, France
We are really excited to introduce Chalet Indiana which borders the forest at the end of the exclusive ‘Dou du Pont’ area and overlooks Meribel. There are few chalets that rival its prime location.
Sympathetically refurbished and extended over the previous 24 months by its French owner, Chalet Indiana combines contemporary touches with the Meribel style craftsmanship which is so beloved in the mountains.
Chalet Indiana is perfectly designed for large families or groups of friends with a generous open plan lounge and dining area in the heart of the chalet. Sumptuous sofas surround an open fire place where you can enjoy a glass of fizz after an exhilarating day on the piste. Walk out through the glass doors on to the large balcony with stunning views where you will find the hot tub bubbling away.
Add to this a large cinema room for those all-important movie nights or just relax in the sauna, you will need an extra week just to fit it all in.
The chalet boasts six individually styled bedrooms, five of which are fully ensuite including NEW bathrooms throughout, all with views over the resort or the forest and the mountains beyond.
Add La Neva for larger parties of 16… you can book our brand new adjoining 2 bedroom fully en-suite self catered apartment la Neva which has a connecting door into the chalet and benefits from its own kitchen, lounge, dining room and private hot tub! A fantastic option for larger groups or multiple families wanting space.
Meribel’s famous bars and restaurants are a 500 metre walk away with a wide variety of options for aprés ski or evening entertainment if you can tear yourself away from the chalet. Of course we have our excellent on call, all day driver service to whisk you to and from your chalet.
Each chalet has its own chef who is qualified and trained in fine dining, so you can expect to ski on a hearty, healthy breakfast, indulge in a slice of tasty homemade cake in the afternoon, and sit down to a delicious and imaginative four-course meal each evening.
If you enjoy a cooked breakfast (and what better excuse than a ski holiday?) then your chef will cook your request to order. Take your pick from a continental spread of flaky, buttery croissants, fresh milk, cereals, fruit juices, a selection of fruit and yoghurts, crusty French bread, Nespresso coffees, one of our range of quality teas or a builder’s brew! The choice is yours…
Afternoon tea – it’s a ski chalet tradition and no holiday would be complete without a homemade cake, scones or biscuits to top you up after losing all those calories on the hill.
Simpler children’s early meals can be provided – just let us know in advance of your holiday, we’ll ask you a few favourites and create nutritious menus for your little ones. If you are one family and would prefer to all eat together, just let us know in advance.

It’s a serious business, choosing wine for our chalet guests. We use a specialist supplier called Verre Gourmand whose job it is to taste, taste and taste some more, in order to choose their very favourite wines from producers all around the world. Their huge range is then whittled down to provide us with a selection that they think will suit us and our guests.
Now it’s our turn! We work with our Verre Gourmand sommelier to handpick the 18 reds, whites and sparkling wines that we will serve to our guests. We have new tastings each winter and listen carefully to our guests’ feedback.
It doesn’t stop there… The next stage is during staff training: the chefs and hosts get together with our sommelier to discuss their menus, taste the wines and choose made-in-heaven matches for all the dishes on the menu during the week.
You’ll have your pick of 2 proseccos, 2 whites and 2 reds to help yourselves to during your stay. This is alongside the bottled beers and soft drinks that are readily available in the complimentary bar.
Each day, your host will serve the paired wines that the chef and sommelier have chosen to accompany the dishes on the menu. They’ll include bottles from all over France as well as other famous areas in Europe and the New World.
