Le Parc des Airelles Residence Les Orres, France
Location is really what it’s all about when it comes to choosing your ski break accommodation – and it doesn’t get much better than Le Parc des Airelles. The residence is right next to the slopes, so you can pretty much ski back to the door, and it’s just 2 minutes’ walk to the nearest chairlift. The resort centre is around 10 minutes’ walk away, so it’s easy to get out and explore the nearby shops and restaurants.
The chalet-style building has a cosy reception with a fireplace and pool table. Each apartment is nicely laid out and comes with a well-equipped kitchenette and a balcony or terrace – plus many of them have spectacular mountain views.
Apart from the ski room with lockers, there aren’t any other facilities in the Parc, but over the road is the sister residence, Les Balcons des Airelles, where you can use the indoor pool and sauna for free.
All apartments have a kitchenette with microwave-oven, two hobs, toaster, fridge and dishwasher; bathroom with bath or shower and WC; balcony or terrace; and extra charge for flatscreen TV with UK channels. Extra charge for towels (€4 per person). Linen is included and collected at reception on check in.
Please note: There is a cleaning deposit of approx. €42-€140, depending on apartment size.
Please note that safety standards around balconies, railings and public walkways are different in France and may be lower or have ornamental features that you wouldn’t see in the UK or Ireland.
For your own safety and that of everyone you’re travelling with, please make sure you take care not to lean on or over any railings. If you have children under 12 years, please make sure they’re supervised and not left alone at any time.

The advantage of booking a self-catered skiing holiday is often the price. The disadvantages mean either eating out, which in a ski resort is often expensive, or it means having to cook your own meals, which probably means less time skiing, and who really wants to shop and then cook an evening meal after a full days skiing?
Huski, the Alps-based catering business offers a great solution, that means you can still enjoy the great value of a ski apartment or self-catered chalet and eat well without the fuss of having to cook your own food.
Huski delivers a week’s worth of dishes, freshly frozen and ready for you to just heat and serve.
Huski catering is only available to properties in French ski resorts.
