Residence Le Hameau Les Deux-Alpes, France
From Residence Le Hameau, getting out and being one of the first skiers on the mountain’s easily done. The Vallée Blanche chairlift’s right next door, so you can be hopping on and riding off in mere minutes each morning. Reaching the rest of the ski area’s pretty easy too – you can find yourself at the Jandri Express 1 after just a 10-minute stroll through the resort.
The residence has a few treats for you to enjoy when you’re not off exploring or practicing your turns. Taking a dip in the indoor pool or kicking back for a spell in the sauna are great ways to wind down at the end of the day and relax before heading out to eat.
Staying in’s a good option here too, since your apartment includes a handy kitchenette. With a hob and a microwave, you’re ready to cook up some good grub to keep everyone fuelled and mountain-fit. The supermarket’s within easy popping distance too, so you needn’t go out of your way to fetch ingredients on your way back from the slopes.

The advantage of booking a self-catered skiing holiday is often the price. The disadvantages mean either eating out, which in a ski resort is often expensive, or it means having to cook your own meals, which probably means less time skiing, and who really wants to shop and then cook an evening meal after a full days skiing?
Huski, the Alps-based catering business offers a great solution, that means you can still enjoy the great value of a ski apartment or self-catered chalet and eat well without the fuss of having to cook your own food.
Huski delivers a week’s worth of dishes, freshly frozen and ready for you to just heat and serve.
Huski catering is only available to properties in French ski resorts.
