The residence consists of 10 wooden chalets with 9 apartments in each and some individual chalets, four of which are located at the foot of the Soleil chairlift. All are south facing and offer great views. A shuttle bus operates for beginners from the residence to the ESF meeting point in the resort centre 100m away; while for others it is possible to ski via a track to the pistes. In the residence reception, there is a lounge with fireplace, games area for children and laundry room (payable locally).
The advantage of booking a self-catered skiing holiday is often the price. The disadvantages mean either eating out, which in a ski resort is often expensive, or it means having to cook your own meals, which probably means less time skiing, and who really wants to shop and then cook an evening meal after a full days skiing?
