Sun Valley Apartments La Plagne, France
Looking for a piste-side pad in the Paradiski area, but want the flexibility of self-catering? Take a look at the Sun Valley Apartments. It’s right on a blue piste, so getting to and from the complex on skis is straightforward even for beginners, and the shops and restaurants in Plagne Soleil centre are just a snowball’s throw away.
The building itself has an authentic mountain look – picture chunky, stone walls and plenty of timber cladding. Inside, the alpine theme continues in the communal lounge with its open wood fireplace. As for the apartments, simple wood panelling, white walls and pops of colour form the cushions and carpets keep things bright and inviting.
The modern kitchenettes have everything you need to whip up a quick supper, and you can even pay a little extra to get fresh bread and pastries delivered each morning. Or if you fancy some fuss-free mealtimes, pop next door for dinner at the restaurant in the Hotel Vancouver.
And don’t forget your swimsuit either – you’ll also get free use of the wellness area in the Hotel Vancouver. Make splash in the pool, have a soak in the hot tub or warm up in the sauna and steam room.
Self-catering apartment with kitchenette facilities
End-of-stay cleaning is not included as standard.
When you arrive in the resort, the coach isn’t able to take you right up to the entrance of the Sun Valley Apartments, so you’ll be dropped off close by. From there, a smaller vehicle will pick you up and take you the rest of the way.
All apartments have a kitchenette with dishwasher, microwave, hot plates and fridge. As well as a hairdryer and TV, and most apartments have a balcony or terrace. Bed linen, towels and local taxes included. End of stay cleaning not included - cost depends on apartment type and can be paid locally. DVD players are available on request.
When you arrive, you’ll need to pay a deposit of approx. €500 by credit or debit card for each apartment on your booking.

The advantage of booking a self-catered skiing holiday is often the price. The disadvantages mean either eating out, which in a ski resort is often expensive, or it means having to cook your own meals, which probably means less time skiing, and who really wants to shop and then cook an evening meal after a full days skiing?
Huski, the Alps-based catering business offers a great solution, that means you can still enjoy the great value of a ski apartment or self-catered chalet and eat well without the fuss of having to cook your own food.
Huski delivers a week’s worth of dishes, freshly frozen and ready for you to just heat and serve.
Huski catering is only available to properties in French ski resorts.
