Le Mont Soleil Apartments La Plagne, France
The Mont Soleil Apartments are just the thing for a slopeside, self-catered stay. In the mornings you’ll step outside, click into your skis and swoosh off down a gentle blue run. Plus, the ski school meeting point is a few minutes’ walk from your door.
Inside your apartment, there’s lots of natural light thanks to the big windows, and the snowflakes on the pillows and lampshades add that alpine touch. You can take turns whipping up meals in your kitchenette, and pay a little extra to get fresh bread delivered every day, if you like.
Self-catering apartment with kitchenette facilities
When you arrive in the resort, the coach isn’t able to take you right up to the entrance of the Mont Soleil Apartments, so you’ll be dropped off close by. From there, a smaller vehicle will pick you up and take you the rest of the way.
All apartments have a kitchenette with hob, microwave-grill oven, fridge, dishwasher and coffee machine, as well as a TV with international channels and free basic WiFi (extra charge for full access). Bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning (except for the kitchenette) are included.
When you arrive, you’ll need to pay a deposit of approx. €200 by credit or debit card for each apartment on your booking. This can be up to €500 per apartment for groups of 20+.
1 bedroom apartment (approx. 29m²) - sleeps 1-5 (max 4 adults and 1 child up to 11 years): Double bedroom, living room with two single day beds and one single pull-out bed, private bath or shower and WC.
1 bedroom apartment (approx. 36-41m²) - sleeps 1-7 (max 6 adults and 1 child up 11 years): Double bedroom, alcove with bunk beds, living room with two single day beds and one single pull-out bed, private bath or shower and WC.
Cots are available for approx. €32 per week, payable locally. This also includes a highchair, changing mat and pushchair.

The advantage of booking a self-catered skiing holiday is often the price. The disadvantages mean either eating out, which in a ski resort is often expensive, or it means having to cook your own meals, which probably means less time skiing, and who really wants to shop and then cook an evening meal after a full days skiing?
Huski, the Alps-based catering business offers a great solution, that means you can still enjoy the great value of a ski apartment or self-catered chalet and eat well without the fuss of having to cook your own food.
Huski delivers a week’s worth of dishes, freshly frozen and ready for you to just heat and serve.
Huski catering is only available to properties in French ski resorts.
