Hauts Bois Apartments La Plagne, France
The Hauts Bois Apartments have all the convenience of self-catering, plus extra facilities like an indoor pool, sauna and steam room, and even Childcare. You can be on the slopes in a flash too, thanks to the ski-in, ski-out access.
Take your pick from a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment to fit your family or group. They all have a traditional look, with tile floors and pine panelling, and there’s plenty of space to spend time together in the evenings, catching up over a meal or playing board games. Or you can head down to the huge pool and unwind in the sauna and steam room.
Got kids? They’ll love our Childcare clubs at the nearby Hotel Plagne 2000, which is a 15-minute walk away. There's lots of snowy fun, crafts and games galore, so while they're getting stuck in making new friends, you can make the most of some adults-only slope time.
Self-catering apartment with kitchenette facilities
When you arrive in the resort, the coach isn’t able to take you right up to the entrance of the Hauts Bois Apartments, so you’ll be dropped off close by. From there, a smaller vehicle will pick you up and take you the rest of the way.
All apartments have a kitchenette with hot plates, microwave grill, fridge, dishwasher, electric coffee maker and toaster, as well as a TV with international channels, hairdryer and free basic WiFi (extra charge for full access). Bed linen, beds made on arrival, towels and end-of-stay cleaning (excluding kitchen) are included.
When you arrive, you’ll need to pay a deposit of approx. €300 by credit or debit card for each apartment on your booking.

Our Pepi Penguin Nursery (6 months-3 years) and Beanie Bear Club (3-8 years) are based in the Hotel Plagne 2000 in Aime La Plagne. You can book places in these childcare clubs if you stay in the Hotel Plagne 2000 or in the Hauts Bois Apartments. All Childcare is at an extra charge and must be pre-booked to guarantee a place.
Pepi Penguin Nursery (6 months - 3 years)
Pepi Penguin Nursery (6 months - 3 years) is run by our team of Childcare professionals and held in a dedicated room in the hotel equipped with games and toys. Outdoor play included (weather and parental consent permitting).
Activities vary daily. We'll find time for stories, singing, arts and crafts including painting and collage making, plus messy play in the sand tray and free play with age-relevant toys set out for the children to choose what they want to do.
We're also really keen to take in some fresh mountain air each day, so we aim to have an outdoor activity at least once a day – maybe snowy walks, a gondola ride or snow painting. And if your child is used to a sleep, we'll factor that in too.
Beanie Bear Club (3-8 years) provides plenty of fun-filled days as our childcare staff offer a combination of care and skiing, which includes 6 x morning ski lessons, pick-up and drop-off from ski lessons, lunch and either full-day or half-day care by staff in the dedicated Beanie Bear Club room.
* Lift passes aren't included as each child's needs are different. If and when your child feels confident enough to use the lifts, you'll need to buy a lift pass locally.
Activities vary daily – to include games, arts and crafts and storytime – and are often based around a theme.
We're also really keen to take in some fresh mountain air each day, so we aim to have an outdoor activity at least once a day – maybe bus bingo, snowman competitions or a treasure hunt.
Both Pepi Penguin Nursery and Beanie Bear Club run for 6 days and must be pre-booked to guarantee a place.
Please note, Childcare is at an extra charge, and in some instances does not extend the full length of the ski season. Give us a call to chat through your options.

The advantage of booking a self-catered skiing holiday is often the price. The disadvantages mean either eating out, which in a ski resort is often expensive, or it means having to cook your own meals, which probably means less time skiing, and who really wants to shop and then cook an evening meal after a full days skiing?
Huski, the Alps-based catering business offers a great solution, that means you can still enjoy the great value of a ski apartment or self-catered chalet and eat well without the fuss of having to cook your own food.
Huski delivers a week’s worth of dishes, freshly frozen and ready for you to just heat and serve.
Huski catering is only available to properties in French ski resorts.
