The upmarket Les Portes du Mont Blanc enjoys the best location in the village, right in the centre of the peaceful resort of Vallorcine, next door to the telecabine, ski pass office and local ski school meeting point. Guests benefit from free access to the indoor swimming pool and fitness room, while the sauna and steam room are payable locally. Savvy savers have access to the extensive ski area of the Chamonix valley without paying the higher prices of the more famous and expensive neighbouring resorts. This residence building includes a restaurant and bar with south facing terrace and children’s clubs for children aged 3-13 years (bookable and payable locally). There is a bar and patisserie approx 300m away and a small supermarket in the centre of the village, while a larger supermarket and cash machine are located in the village of Argentiere. There is a local ski hire shop in resort.
