Chalet Etoile de Neige Alpe d’Huez, France
The Chalet Etoile de Neige is a traditional Alpine chalet with a convenient location in Alpe d'Huez. With five bedrooms sleeping up to ten people, a small wellness area with hot tub and sauna and delicious home-cooked food, it is the perfect space to enjoy a ski holiday in France.
The spacious, open-plan lounge is a lovely spot to catch up with friends and family over a cup of coffee and a slice of cake, plus there's a shared balcony with mountain views. After a day of adventure, a soothing sauna and rejuvenating hot tub are available for chalet guests, offering the perfect remedy for achy ski legs.
The chalet is set across three floors, on the ground floor you’ll find a heated boot room, as well as an entrance area. The first floor has a welcoming open-plan lounge and dining room, as well as one bedroom. The remainder of the bedrooms are located on the second floor; all of the bedrooms feature en-suite shower rooms, and balconies with views over the resort.
Chalet Etolie de Neige is located in the central Viel Alpe area of Alpe d'Huez. Tthere's a range of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance of the chalet, plus getting onto the slopes couldn't be easier. Each morning, walk to the bucket lift and head up to Rond Point des Pistes, where you can find the Pic Blanc cable car and ski school meeting point. At the end of the day you can ski down to the Alpe Express lift in the Eclose area of the resort, following the small piste through the town towards Maison de L'Alpe d'Huez. The chalet is also located just 50 metres from the famous finish line of the 21 bends of the Tour de France route.
During your stay at the Chalet Etoile de Neige, meals are prepared for you six days a week by your designated chalet hosts who are on hand to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. You can look forward to a cooked breakfast, freshly made afternoon tea and a four-course evening meal with unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks during dinner.

Room facilities
All five bedrooms have a shower and wash basin in an alcove that's separated from the bedroom by a curtain. The WC is separate and have a door.
The chalet is located in the Vielle Alpe quartier of Alpe d'Huez.
Children 11 years and under are welcome in the chalet on any date where one group books the entire chalet for their exclusive use. Otherwise, children are allowed on peak dates only.
Our catered chalets mean there is no need to worry about a shopping trip whilst on holiday, as you will be looked after by us from arrival right to departure.
A continental buffet breakfast is available on 7 mornings of your holiday. There’ll be a selection of cereals, bread and pastries from a local bakery, jams and spreads, local cheeses and charcuterie, yogurts and fresh fruits. We have Nespresso coffee machines in each chalet, along with teas, infusions, hot chocolates and fruit juices.
For 6 mornings of your holiday there’s a classic full cooked breakfast available, starting from 8am. Your hosts will take an order from you and get it prepared ahead of your big day on the slopes. Options include free range eggs, sausages, bacon, halloumi, mushrooms and tomatoes.
A fresh cake will be baked and ready for your return from the slopes, 6 days of the week. Perfect to pair with the selection of teas, hot chocolate and Nespresso coffee, that’re in your chalet for you whenever you fancy.
A 4-course set menu will be cooked and served by your chalet hosts on 6 evenings of your holiday. You’ll start your evening with an Aperitif and nibbles, where we have a choice of 2 Italian Proseccos from the Veneto region, one of which is a 0% alcohol option, beer and soft drinks.
The evening set menu has been designed to incorporate a variety of different cuisines, including classic French, Asian, Italian and British dishes. One evening the menu will be a delicious regional dish, from the area you are staying in.
After each homemade dessert there’s a selection of cheeses with fresh bread, crackers and chutney, along with coffee, tea or infusions.
There will be special celebration menus on Christmas Day & New Year's Eve.
During your evening meal guests can indulge in our carefully selected complimentary local wines, which consists of a choice of 3 red, 3 white and 1 rosé. All of the wines have been carefully chosen so that there is a great variety and offer something to cater for all tastes and that pairs well with the menu.
For those guests that don’t drink wine, there is a selection of beer (both with and without alcohol), sparkling mineral water and soft drinks.
