Design Hotel Levi (Santa Break)

A brand new property, the Design Hotel Levi combines both modern and traditional Lappish style in the heart of Levi. A boutique hotel with 77 beautifully designed rooms, our guests can enjoy the luxe of their surroundings with all the Levi Hotel Spa's services located within the same complex. Each room is labelled as 'Deluxe' and provides a welcome retreat after a days adventure; encompasses grey pinewood, natural stones, black and copper finishes- all sourced from Finland. With four floors and the option to book a Deluxe Suite with balcony, guests may even have an opportunity to admire the Northern Lights from their own hotel room.

Breakfast is taken in the stylish Kekäle restaurant and the option to upgrade to half board for 3 nights is also available and includes a chef's special menu on the 3rd night.

The Levi Spa Resort facilities feel endless with the indoor/outdoor Spa Waterworld included in your stay (use of the gym, massages, yoga studio and spa treatments can also be booked and paid for locally).

The rooms in the brand new Design Hotel are of a fantastic standard, combining modern design with a traditional Lappish finish. With natural stone, pinewood and reindeer themes with elements of black and copper throughout. Situated over four floors, all of the rooms have a French balcony or a regular balcony in them.

All rooms include a TV, shower, WC, hairdryer, coffee making facilities, safe and fridge. There are the following room types available for your stay:

Deluxe Double/Twin Room (A3) which includes all the facilities mentioned above, with either a King size bed or twin beds. Occupying a maximum of 2 adults and 1 child.

Rooms with an interconnecting door is available, with 2-3 children only in the 2nd room.

Deluxe Loft Double/Twin Room (B4) has either a King size bed or twin beds with a loft area. The loft area can accommodate 1 adult or 2 children, so the maximum occupancy in this room type is 3 adults or 2 adults and 1-2 children.

Deluxe Suite (C3) additional inclusions are King Size bed, lounge area, sauna, bathtub and a balcony. The Suite is spacious enough to fit an extra bed, making the maximum occupancy 2 adults and 1 child.

Deluxe Double/Twin - Single Occupancy (D1) will have the same facilities and layout as the Deluxe room, but is to be occupied by a single person.

Day 1

Your Santa Breaks Reps will be waiting at Kittilä airport to warmly welcome you to Lapland and bring you by coach to your accommodation. Shortly after arriving in Levi, you will collect your complimentary thermal suits and boots, which you will keep for the duration of your stay. There will be plenty of time to explore your snowy surroundings, build snowmen, find a toboggan and throw those mandatory snowballs. Join us for a welcome get-together to help you plan your activities for the next few days - see below for options.

Day 2

Today is the day! The time has come to meet the big man himself. A magical jaunt is in store with a visit to Santa's Elves Hideaway. Here each family will enjoy an exclusive private meeting with Santa - make sure you’ve written your letters! You can also take part in supervised festive games, cook sausages on an open fire, help the elves bake gingerbread biscuits and try making your own decorations in Elf School. Outdoors you can meet Comet the Reindeer or have great fun tobogganing in the snow. All children will receive a small gift - souvenirs that can be treasured for years.

Day 3

Make the most of your stay by booking our exciting and excellent value optional excursions. Perhaps a combined husky and reindeer farm visit with sleigh rides in the morning, followed by an exhilarating family-friendly snowmobile safari in the afternoon.

Alternatively, explore Levi centre and the local shops, collect souvenirs or relax and enjoy a sauna at your accommodation in true Finnish style!

On Your Final Night

Get ready for a Festive Feast! An evening of party games and a disco. Tuck into a buffet of traditional roast turkey Christmas dinner plus Lappish specialities.

Please note that the Festive Feast takes place on Day 4 for guests staying 4 nights.

Day 4 (for 4 night guests only)

Levi is also Finland’s most famous ski resort, hosting World Cup ski events on its uncrowded snow-sure pistes, and guests on the 4-night Santa Break can pre-book our exclusive 'Ski Taster' package to give the sport a go on Levi's beginner-friendly South slopes. Perhaps you would prefer to wander around the local craft shops, relax at the hotel swimming pool or simply play in the snow. Then get ready for your Festive Feast in the evening (see Day 3 for details). After dinner, perhaps the Northern Lights will appear for that perfect end to your holiday.

Day 5 (or day 4 for 3 night guests)

After a magical few days, it’s time to say goodbye to your new friends before being transferred by coach to the airport for your flight home.
