And the ski bus stop is metres from your door, so hop on for a short ride to the Penken gondola and hit the slopes. When you’re back, there’s a shared boot room where you can store your gear ready for the next day.

The apartments have a simple style with some nice touches – you'll spot mountain pictures on the walls and feel fluffy rugs underfoot. As for breakfast, you can whip something up in the kitchen or pop to a local bakery for fresh bread and pastries.
