This residence is made up of a number of small buildings of 3 floors high and offer good views of the surrounding mountains. It is a short walk (4 minutes) to the El Tarter gondola and the superb Grandvalira ski area. All the amenities of the El Tarter village are on hand with a number of shops, bars and restaurants. Soldeu resort centre can also be reached by ski-bus. The apartments were only built a couple of years ago and are therefore spacious and also benefit from a pleasant ambience of newness.
Since they joined forces 11 years ago in 2004, the Grandvalira super-ski area has linked the resorts of Soldeu and Pas de la Casa with over 200km of slopes! This impressive lift system has state-of-the-art gondolas and fast chairs, which really do allow you to get some piste-miles under your belt.
The advantage of booking a self-catered skiing holiday is often the price. The disadvantages mean either eating out, which in a ski resort is often expensive, or it means having to cook your own meals, which probably means less time skiing, and who really wants to shop and then cook an evening meal after a full days skiing?
