Right in the resort centre, the Mirtil puts you at the heart of the action and minutes from the slopes. You’ll see the lifts as soon as you step out the door – head to the Solana chairlift for cruisy blue runs or set off for the peaks on the Pas de la Casa chairlift.
When you’re back, pop your skis in your locker and stop by the bar for a refreshing drink. It’s a small space which makes for a friendly atmosphere, so you can strike up a conversation or kick back and watch the sports on TV. As for the rooms, they come in two styles. The twin rooms are fuss-free and have those classic burnt-orange floor tiles, or you can go for a superior twin, triple or quad room for that modern-alpine look.
Half board comes as standard here, so the start and end of your day are sorted. There’s a buffet breakfast each morning with hot foods like omelettes alongside Continental staples, plus freshly squeezed orange juice to wash it all down. If you're feeling peckish once you're back from the slopes, grab a cuppa and a slice of cake at the complimentary afternoon tea. Then, you'll dig into three courses in the evening, with speciality dishes from both sides of the border on the menu.
All rooms are non-smoking and have a satellite TV, telephone, hairdryer, safe and free WiFi.
