Anyone who has taken winter sports holidays before will tell you that a swimming pool back at your hotel is a real treat.
After a day on the slopes, being able to just pop downstairs to take a dip in the private heated pool is a welcome indulgence.
The pool is good size, plenty big enough to enjoy a few leisurely lengths to stretch out tired muscles or for a bit of après ski fun with the kids.
All guests at L’Ecrin are booked on a chalet board basis. For the uninitiated, chalet board was designed around ski holidays to enable guests to relax and enjoy their downtime with a minimum of effort after the day’s exertions on the slopes.
Included in your holiday are a substantial breakfast (full English or continental), a reviving afternoon tea in the afternoon, complete with homemade cakes, and a 3-course dinner with complimentary wine to accompany your meal.
Our friendly staff will ensure you’re relaxed and well fed and the mix of small and large tables in the restaurant provide a convivial atmosphere whether dining as a couple, family or with new friends.
All our childcare staff are professional and hold either a DCE, NNEB, NVQ or equivalent qualification or have at least 2 years relevant experience. Due to the popularity of our children's clubs, pre-booking all childcare is essential at the time of booking.
When you stay at our ski resort, childcare is provided for kids from 4 months up to 12 years old. Childcare must be booked before your stay and will incur an additional charge. You can see the clubs on offer for certain age groups on our family ski holiday page.
You’ll be happy to know that our family friendly chalet has in-house crèches as well as ski school pick up and drop off every day. It’s a great way to let the whole family hit the slopes, especially parents who deserve a little me time on a ski holiday.
Our Baby Clubs provide a warm, homely and secure environment. We provide a keyworker so the little ones are soon settled and contented. Your baby’s day is organised to fit in with their needs and, wherever possible, to your times for naps and feeds. So when your holiday’s over, you’ll hopefully be able to slip back into your normal routine.
Our Toddler Club is perfectly set up for this most lively minded age group. Throughout the day our nannies provide a busy programme of games, stories, music and art to keep toddlers amused. Weather permitting, there are buggy outings and snow play for the older toddlers. Where possible, we try to ensure that children have the same keyworker all week, and we do our utmost to adapt to your child’s usual daily routine.
Our Mini Club is pure fun! Children will enjoy sledging, snowman building and exciting cable car rides – often with a stop-off for a cup of hot chocolate. The action continues indoors, with a full programme that includes arts and crafts, face painting and games.
If you’ve a 4 or 5 year old who would like to combine activities with learning to ski, we can arrange half-day ski school* with drop-off and collection by our nannies.
In the Kidz Club it’s all about action, with the emphasis on having fun in the snow. And if your children also want to ski, they’re still welcome to join. Our nannies can take them to and from ski school* and bring them back for lunch with the others from the Kidz Club.
For non-skiers there’s a packed programme of entertainment from sledging, snow sculptures, face painting, games and treasure hunts. Our energetic nannies also supervise excursions such as bowling and ice skating for which there’s a small extra charge.
A guest tax varying between €1 - €2.5 per person per night is applicable in this property. Charges to be paid in resort and added to guest room bills to pay at the end of your stay.
Charges apply to those aged 18+
