The chalet’s ski room is being relocated to be housed inside a real cable car cabin.
The owners of the chalet have installed a full-sized cable car in the chalet, where guests will be able to have their ski equipment fitted professionally.
The bespoke made to measure cabin is based on the old vintage style ones from Val d’Isere and is equipped not only for the comfort of guests but to allow ski suppliers to come and fit equipment and also to house maintenance equipment needed for skis.

Chalet Marco Polo has also installed an enormous ‘big boy’s car racing game.’ Described as, “a proper Scalextric for grown-ups and kids too,” it allows up to eight players (young or old) to compete in their own Formula 1 tournament as well as enjoying the wonderful skiing of Val d’Isere.
