My Dream Summer At Club Med’s Panorama Resort In The French Alps

This summer Katie Simpson, one of the Ski Line sales agents, took her family to the all-inclusive Club Med Panorama in Les Arcs.

Below is a blog written by Katies 10 year old daughter detailing her summer holiday at Club Med Panorama.

Hi there! I’m Molly. I’m so excited to tell you all about our amazing summer adventure at the Club Med Panorama. I’m 10 years old but let me give you the lowdown on what me and my family loved the most!

First off, the hotel was like a billionaire’s mansion! It was massive and the panoramic view looked so cool. I even loved climbing the stairs each day as you could compare how many steps there were with other famous buildings like the Eiffel Tower! What else? Gosh, I nearly forgot about the food – yummy crepes – I was in chocolate heaven! Every day, we had crepes for breakfast, and not only then because afternoon tea = Nutella crepes! As well as crepes there were lots of other delicious foods for dinner. My brother is a bit picky unlike myself as I am a food explorer so I was in heaven, but he still found his food heaven – meat – his favourite!

The good thing was the freedom we had. We could go to the bar and order a drink by ourselves. We had these wristbands that had our room key, so we could go to our room at any time. There was an afternoon where we could get sweets and crepes which was really fun as well and everything was included.

We practically lived in the swimming pool and played a few rounds of table tennis. The only annoying thing was the aqua fit time, ’cause we couldn’t use the outdoor pool while it was on. But we still had a great time. Our room was amazing – we had our own bedroom with a door that connected to the parent’s room which was really fun!

Our Dad went all out with the cycling, and he even joined groups to explore. And guess what? He couldn’t stop talking about the seafood buffet! Mum was all about the mountains and the amazing weather.

We went on family hikes and took these cool chairlifts up the mountains – we even had our own walking sticks! Oh, the restaurant was a whole adventure itself. We sat at a different table every time, and some days we packed a picnic from the breakfast buffet and set out for the day. Getting around was super easy – buses, chairlifts, gondolas, and even a funicular! The lift pass was included and given to us when we arrived. Our evenings were filled with awesome entertainment, and the staff were very friendly and ready to help.

The kids’ club shows were a hit – we loved watching them. All in all, Club Med Panorama was a kid’s dream come true. The hotel was like a mansion, the food was a party in our mouths, and we had so much freedom to explore. We swam, played, hiked, and ate until our tummies were feeling so good. I’m already begging my parents to take us back there next summer!

If you want to go skiing or find out more about Club Med summer holidays speak to my mum, Katie Simpson. She knows all about it.

We’d like to thank Molly for her guest blog, a brilliant and informative blog….. But we would also like to point out that Molly’s wrist band only allowed her to order “soft” drinks at the bar. Although I hear she had a few Mocktails.
