Balkan Holidays Cut Pamporovo From Their Programme

The leading ski specialists to Bulgaria and Slovenia have pulled Pamporovo from their list of ski resorts.

A spokesperson for Balkan Holidays today said.

Unfortunately, the increase in prices for accommodation and ski services imposed on us in the revised contract conditions by the suppliers mean it would not be viable to operate a programme there and we were not certain the standards that we have come to expect would be provided. We do understand the disappointment this will cause to our many repeat, and new, customers to Pamporovo but the revised conditions offered by the suppliers left us with no alternative but to cancel.

Pamporovo has never been a popular choice for Ski Line clients, with just 25km of pistes, it’s the smallest of our resorts in Bulgaria and we feel there are better alternatives in either Bansko and Borovets, two great resorts for first-time skiers and budget-minded families.
