202425 Ski Season Ends with a Powder-Filled Bang

The 2024/25 ski season has officially wrapped up, and what a spectacular finale it was! For those who took the leap and booked their late-season ski holidays, the reward was beyond anything we could have hoped for.

The Snow Gods Delivered – Big Time

The last week of the Easter school holidays delivered over 1.5 metres of fresh powder in many Alpine resorts. In fact, so much snow fell that avalanche warnings hit level 5, forcing some resorts to close temporarily for safety. But for the lucky skiers who were in the mountains last Friday, the conditions were nothing short of legendary.

One of our clients, Max K., summed it up perfectly:

“It was incredible, I was waist deep in powder… in April!”

We shared Max’s video on our Instagram over the weekend, filmed from a chairlift in Val d’Isère. The response was phenomenal, racking up nearly 50,000 views in just a few days. Ski lovers across the world couldn’t believe the quality of skiing available so late in the season.

Ski Line’s Season Never Stops

While the lifts may be shutting down for summer, the team here at Ski Line is busier than ever. We’re already deep into booking ski holidays for the 2025/26 ski season, and demand is higher than ever, especially for peak dates like Christmas, New Year, and February half term.

Our sales team had some top advice for those thinking ahead:

  • Liz says, “Christmas is booking up faster than ever, I’m so glad my clients are locking in early.”
  • Mal warns, “Ski-in, ski-out catered chalets with hot tubs? They’re gone fast. If you wait until January, it’s usually too late.”
  • Katie echoes, “It’s all about those peak weeks. If you want the best ski holiday in 2025/26, book now.”
  • Elaine adds, “I’m telling clients to get a wiggle on, early booking means better rooms, better flights, and the best deals.”
  • Jeff noticed a shift in booking habits: “My clients used to book in August. Now May and June are the new booking hotspots.”
