The Hotel Neue Post is one of Zell am See’s best located hotels for enjoying all that this historic ski town has to offer – it's right in the centre of the old town, just a short walk from the lakeside and the City Xpress gondola, for easy access to the Schmitten ski area.
Silvia and Harald Bruckner head up the team at the Neue Post and make this a welcoming base for the duration of your ski holiday. The service is informal, but very professional – they're always on hand to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible.
The hotel has a well-balanced combination of modern comfort and Austrian tradition. The decor has a classic feel, but everything you should ever need or expect is there – including stylish rooms, great food, free WiFi and an extensive spa and outdoor pool.
The renovated wellness spa makes great use of its full 700m². Kids are welcome during the day, but after 6pm this becomes an adult-only space for relaxation. Plus, the covered outdoor pool is great for either a fun splash about or some lazy laps. There’s also a fitness room with a suite of cardio equipment to help you keep in shape.

Austrian twin beds
Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.
