This amazing location just off the Ostafa Piste is secluded and super quiet. Accessible only by ski lift and ski access it is a mountain lover’s dream. This tiny hamlet in its own private little valley will have you leaving all your cares behind.
If you are looking for an adventure L’Aroula might be the place for you. Only accessible by ski lift from Champoluc up past the crest gondola to 2420m then a short ski down the Ostafta red piste you will find the village tucked just off the edge of the piste but ski slow as its slightly hidden away. Do not worry about your luggage as transport can be arranged. Welcome to this secluded getaway where you can leave the world behind and just switch off and ski. We mean switch off as there is no wi-fi here but who needs it with stunning views and great skiing. There is a wonderful restaurant open for lunch and dinner every day serving classic alpine cuisine. Locally selected produce rooted in tradition. There is also a small bar stocking a selection of drinks.
L’Aroula is a small four room hotel with one single, two double/twin and an additional double/twin with extra bed. All are very typical of mountain styling, and you will feel the rustic ambience of its surroundings. Three of the rooms have showers and one has a jacuzzi. All come with TV and other basics such as a hairdryer. There is an additional option to stay in a three-bedroom apartment for up to seven people best suited for a larger group or family.
