Situated at the top of Val Thorens and at a height of 2,364m, the Koh-I Nor boasts the accolade of being the highest 5* hotel in Europe. As you would expect, the views do not disappoint; the hotel boasts spectacular panoramic views of the resort and valley below as well as ski-in/ski out access.

Koh-I Nor translates to ‘Mountain of Light’ in Persian and this is reflected in the hotel’s luxurious architecture and décor. Large windows and a diamond shaped glass structure ensure that rooms, the spa area and public areas are flooded with natural light. The hotel offers 63 opulent rooms and suites, three restaurants, a bar and south facing panoramic terrace. For relaxation and well-being, after a day spent exploring the fantastic Three Valleys ski domain, guests can enjoy the luxurious spa area complete with two swimming pools, a sauna, steam room, experience showers and ice fountain.

Guests on the half-board basis can choose between the three restaurants for dinner. One serves and offers a five-course dinner menu (set menu), as well as an ‘A La Carte’ section, including a starter and dessert buffet (with supplement). The offer of an ‘A La Carte’ menu, where a credit of €35 per adult and €15 per child is included as part of the half-board package. The third restaurant, La Cave offers a selection of local specialities. Breakfast comprises a buffet, complete with local foods and home-made products such as the hotel’s very own jam.
