Key Lifts Upgraded In The 3 Valleys - Great News For Skiers

After being out of operation for a few seasons, the iconic cable car that transports visitors to the summit of La Saulire at a breathtaking altitude of 2,710 meters is back in action – and it has undergone an impressive €10 million renovation! Originally making history in 1984 as the first cable car in the world capable of carrying up to 160 passengers, the revamped version now accommodates a slightly reduced capacity of 130 skiers or pedestrians, some of whom head up to dine at the famous Le Panoramic restaurant.

One of the most notable upgrades is the replacement of the easily scratched Plexiglass windows with real laminated glass, offering a much clearer and more durable view. This change allows passengers to fully enjoy the stunning mountain landscapes as they glide 70 meters above the ground. The improved design ensures an even more immersive experience, making the journey as exciting as the destination.

Mark your calendars for the reopening on December 6th – it’s a date skiers and mountain enthusiasts have been eagerly awaiting!
