Residence Club MMV Samoens Village Samoens, France
Jam-packed with sleek furnishings and natural materials, these apartments hit the sweet spot when it comes to modern alpine style. And they were even awarded the French Pyramide d'Argent prize for being a low-carbon building. They're well located, just a 10-minute walk from the Grand Massif gondola and centre of town, so whether you're headed for the slopes or the shops and restaurants, everything's within easy reach.
Inside, there are nods to the surrounding mountains everywhere you look. Modern prints of skiers and boarders hang on the walls and snowboards double as coat hangers. And the communal spaces are top-notch hangout spots – hit the games room for a table football match or sink back onto one of the comfy sofas next to the fire in the lounge. After some spa time? Get a little R&R in the outdoor hot tub with a view of the slopes, or swim a few lengths in the indoor and outdoor pools.
You'll stay self-catered here, so you've got free rein over every mealtime, and there are optional extras you can get from reception too. Pay a little extra for a breakfast box from the onsite bakery, tuck into something tasty from the snack corner, or borrow a fondue or raclette set from reception for a flavour of France at dinner time. Don't fancy cooking? Wander into Samoëns to eat out at one of the restaurants – you'll find plenty of cosy spots serving up Savoyard specialities.
For an extra charge, you can add ready-to-heat meals to your booking, which are handmade locally and delivered to your accommodation by our partner, Huski.

The advantage of booking a self-catered skiing holiday is often the price. The disadvantages mean either eating out, which in a ski resort is often expensive, or it means having to cook your own meals, which probably means less time skiing, and who really wants to shop and then cook an evening meal after a full days skiing?
Huski, the Alps-based catering business offers a great solution, that means you can still enjoy the great value of a ski apartment or self-catered chalet and eat well without the fuss of having to cook your own food.
Huski delivers a week’s worth of dishes, freshly frozen and ready for you to just heat and serve.
Huski catering is only available to properties in French ski resorts.
