Residence Odalys L’Oree des Pistes St Sorlin d’Arves, France
Self-cater right by the slopes at Résidence Odalys, a piste-side pick on the edge of St Sorlin d’Arves. The Pierre Aigue green run is right outside, so you can click straight in each morning and slide back to the door when you’re done – or if you're just starting out, the ski bus that stops outside will zip you to the nursery slopes in a few minutes.
The building itself has that classic alpine look, with plenty of natural wood cladding inside and out. There’s a choice of simple apartments for up to six people, most of which come with a private balcony to make the most of those mountain views. And cooking-wise, the compact kitchenette takes care of the basics. Or you could upgrade to half board to get your breakfasts and evening meals included at the onsite Le Barock restaurant instead.
As for extras, you’ve got an indoor pool if you fancy an après swim. And sticking with the relaxing theme, there’s also a steam room and sauna that you can use for a small fee.
· self-catering apartments with kitchenette facilities · optional upgrade to half board with buffet breakfast and evening meal · New Year’s Eve gala meal included
All apartments are non-smoking and have a kitchenette with hobs, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and dishwasher, as well as a TV and free WiFi. Towels, bed linen and end-of-stay-cleaning (except kitchenette) are included.
When you arrive, you’ll need to pay a deposit of approx. €300 by credit or debit card for each apartment on your booking.

The advantage of booking a self-catered skiing holiday is often the price. The disadvantages mean either eating out, which in a ski resort is often expensive, or it means having to cook your own meals, which probably means less time skiing, and who really wants to shop and then cook an evening meal after a full days skiing?
Huski, the Alps-based catering business offers a great solution, that means you can still enjoy the great value of a ski apartment or self-catered chalet and eat well without the fuss of having to cook your own food.
Huski delivers a week’s worth of dishes, freshly frozen and ready for you to just heat and serve.
Huski catering is only available to properties in French ski resorts.
