When it comes to décor, there’s a simple but stylish vibe from tip to toe, with cream-coloured walls, dark wood and plenty of soft lighting to keep things warm and inviting. Head upstairs, and it’s the same story in the bedrooms, which each come with either a balcony or terrace.

Days start with a hot and cold buffet spread, so grab a plate and fuel up on things like eggs, bacon and stacks of pancakes drizzled in syrup – just the ticket to keep you going until lunch.

Deluxe double room – sleeps 2-4 (max 3 adults or 3 adults and 1 child under 11 years): Double bed, double sofa bed, private shower or bath, WC and a private balcony.

1 bedroom apartment – 2-4: Double bedroom, living room with two extra beds, private bath, WC and a balcony.

Cots are available to hire for approx. €5 per night, payable locally.
