Chalet Orion is this operator's smallest chalet in Val Thorens and indeed the whole of the Belleville valley. Val Thorens chalets are rarely stand-alone, and even less so are they are ski-in, ski-out. If it’s a good location you’re after, the Val Thorens Chalets; Pégase, Véga and Orion are all housed in Chalet Alrock, situated on piste, next to the brand new Sports Centre, just below the central Place du Caron. Each is run and catered separately but share the bonus of the sauna on the ground floor.
The chalet gives you direct access to the piste so you just need to clip in, and off you go, either down to the bottom of the magic carpets (for beginners) or down to Les Menuires or to the various chairlifts and gondolas that open up access to all of the Three Valleys and the glacier
Orion is on just one floor, the lower ground floor of Chalet Alrock. The three bedrooms are situated in a corridor off the lounge, each with their own shower room and wc.
This operator creates and operates all their holidays themselves. They have crafted a package for skiers and snowboarders including flights and operate hand-picked chalets which are staffed with their own people, trained to the highest standards.
As a package ski operator, they make your life easy by offering a one-stop shop for buying your ski chalet holiday. When you buy from us, the whole holiday package is included; flights, transfers and catered chalet accommodation. And we even can add-on great deals on ski extras; lift passes, ski and snowboard hire and tuition.
Whilst this property is priced per person, it is only available on whole chalet bookings. If the chalet is under-occupied each empty bed will be discounted by 25%. Extra beds over and above the minimum occupancy are also discounted by 25%.

During those chilly Alpine evenings guests can relax, discuss the days skiing and enjoy restaurant standard levels of hospitality. Enjoy tasty aperitifs and a glass of prosecco by the fire before sitting down for a sumptuous 3 course meal.
Our chalet menus have been carefully designed by our Executive Chef to serve our guests with imaginative, stylishly-presented, great tasting cuisine. Our ingredients are sourced locally whenever possible and all our chefs have a passion for what they create.
Our service includes: 7 days breakfasts, 7 days afternoon tea and cakes, 6 evenings 3 course meals including aperitif, canapés plus wine and coffee.
6 days: Cereals, porridge and yoghurts
1 day: continental breakfast, croissants, bread, tea, coffee and juices
We will always do our very best to cater for special diets. As we are catering at high altitude ski locations during winter, local availability of specialist foods can be limited and may not be available at all. Therefore it is essential you inform us of any special dietary requirements at the time of booking your holiday to help us to help you. There is no supplement for vegetarian or vegan meals. For gluten or dairy free meals there is an extra charge of £29 per person when pre-booked. The in-resort charge is £49 per person.
