Thanks to its strategic position (close to the pedestrian street and a few hundred meters from the main cablecar) Hotel Berthod is one of the few accomodation in the area open all year around ,and is a reference point for all those who decide to stay in Courmayeur.
It was the end of the XVII cent., when Courmayeur developed the thermal summer tourism, due to the qaulity of its mineral spring. Nowadays, it is one of the most important ski resorts, which combines the slopes ans mountains’ spectacularity with the rare charm of an exclusive place.
The new Skyway Monte Bianco cable car, Val Ferret, Val Veny and the various villages surrounding the central town make Courmayeur a unique and popular place 365 days.
Rooms
The Hotel Berthod, after several renovations and extensions, has now reached the size of 35 rooms of different types, equipped with every comfort and almost all with a balcony.
Family room
They are disposed on two levels, with a double bed or two twin beds and a mezzanine with a sofa bed. They all have a small balcony and a bathroom with bathtub.
Like the other rooms, they have: telephone, LCD TV, mini bar, desk and wi-fi connection, max 4 or 5 beds (about 38 sqm).
Junior suite
This room, whith two areas (a small living area where you can read a book or watch TV and a sleeping area with a double bed or 2 single beds), has three panoramic balconies facing south-west.
Two of these rooms have recently been renovated and have a bathroom with shower, while the other is in classic style with bathtub. Like the other rooms, they have: telephone, LCD TV, mini bar, desk and wi-fi connection, bathroom with shower or bathtub, max 3 (about 26 square meters).
Deluxe
They have all the comforts: telephone, LCD TV, mini bar, desk and wi-fi connection, balcony (except one with a small garden) and bathroom with shower, max 2 beds (about 26 sqm).
Deluxe comfort
This spacious room is located in the hotel annex. It has a small balcony and a sensorial shower. The bathroom has a bathtub. It has all the comforts: telephone, LCD TV, mini bar, desk and wi-fi connection, panoramic balcony, max 2 beds (about 28 square meters).
Deluxe comfort WITH WHIRLPOOL BATHTUB
This modern and spacious room has a panoramic balcony, telephone, LCD television, mini-bar, desk, wi-fi connection and a spectacular whirlpool bathtub. The bathroom has a shower instead. It is perfect for special occasions, birthdays or romantic getaways, max 2 beds (about 35 sqm).
All accommodations are personalized and furnished with a mix of modern and traditional things of Aosta Valley.

Standard
Our Standard double rooms are ideal for those who are looking for simplicity without giving up the comfort. They are mostly in classic style, without balcony, but still spacious (about 20 square meters), equipped with telephone, LCD TV, mini bar, desk and wi-fi connection, max 2 beds.
Room With Comfortable Sofa Bed
This room offers accommodation for up to 3 people. It has a double bed or two single beds and a comfortable single sofa bed (about 22 square meters). Like the other rooms, they have: telephone, LCD television, mini bar, desk and wi-fi connection, bathroom with shower or bathtub, max 3 beds.
Design objects match with traditional pieces of the Aosta Valley and, in the same way, forniture derived form reusable material matches with recycled details. This is the common thread that makes every rooms unique.
Wellness
Born form the renovation of the old cellars where the family used to age the Fontina cheese, Les Crottes spa is now a place dedicated to the wellbeing.
An ideal place to realx after a day spent outside, this wellness area keeps the original vaults unchanged. Here you can find a Jacuzzi, a sauna, a Turkish bath, an emotional shower and a relaxation area with a tea corner.
Reservation is compulsory and the fee is of EURO 25.00 per person for 1.h30 of use. Children under 14 y.o. are not allowed.
Access to the relaxation area is allowed only to hotel guests. Opening hours: 15.30-20.20
