Location
Val Thorens is situated in the Tarentaise Valley in the Savoie region of the French Alps. It’s part of the 3 Vallées ski area, which is the largest ski area in the world, with over 600 km of ski runs.
Skiing
Val Thorens offers a range of skiing for all abilities. It has a good mix of beginner, intermediate, and advanced runs. The resort is particularly well suited for intermediate skiers, with plenty of blue and red runs to choose from. However, there are also some challenging black runs, including the famous ‘La Masse’ run, which is over 1,000 meters of vertical drop.
