Val Thorens
Proof of COVID status
For age 16 and over from 22nd Jan 2022 the Pass Vaccinale needs to be shown in resort, so please ensure you have it on you at all times.
This can be obtained by scanning the NHS Second or third Dose QR code with the app TousAntiCovid. Note a third dose is required for over 65’s to obtain the Pass vaccinale from 15 Dec 2021 and for all adults from 15 Feb 2022 if more than 4 months since second dose or recovery.
Travelling with children & teenagers
Children aged 6 years and over must wear a mask. For entry to accommodation, bars, restaurants, and leisure centres, amongst other venues, as well as access to ski lifts, children aged 12-15 years must have a pass vaccinale (fully vaccinated) or pass sanitaire i.e. proof of double vaccination (with QR code), or provide proof of past infection more than 11 days and less than 180 days previously (with QR code), or show a valid negative test result from a PCR or antigen test within 24 hours (therefore required daily). Note that tests must be carried out under supervision by an authorised testing provider – NHS self-tests and UK test-to-travel kits are not accepted. Teenagers 16 years and over will need a pass vaccinale – which means they must have two vaccinations, or one vaccination plus proof of recovery within the last 6 months. Daily testing will not be sufficient. Children under the age of 12 are exempt from needing either pass on their holiday.
