Chalet Idylle La Tania, France
The newly renovated and lovingly brought up to date Chalet Idylle is a cosy and warm chalet with ski-in, ski-out access to the Folyères blue piste, from which it is just a short ski into La Tania. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, you are close enough to the centre of the resort to make use of all its amenities but far enough to enjoy some peace and relaxation if required after an active day.
There are a total of 6 rooms in this wonderful chalet and it can sleep up to 12 people (each room has a safety deposit box). On the first floor you’ll find a spacious open plan lounge and dining area, the perfect space to socialise in the evenings, following a wonderful day in the snow. Enjoy some delicious home-cooked meals and a glass or two of wine before retiring to the comfortable seating in the lounge, centred around a warm and welcoming log fire. The chalet also has a terrace on either side of it providing you with a perfect spot to take in the evening alpine air or indeed enjoy your coffee on in the morning.
Rooms 1, 3 & 6 can each take a cot.
In a prime location, amongst the trees, next to the slopes and surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful scenery, Chalet Idylle has the best of both worlds as it is also just a 8 minute walk to the village centre. La Tania is a small and environmentally-designed ski resort nestling in the middle of a pine forest in the heart of the prestigious Three Valleys ski area. It provides an excellent base for a ski holiday as it is pedestrian friendly and has really good ski access. The ski lifts are a short ski on a blue piste.

Founder of The Hive Cookery School and Area Manager, Christina Hadden works hard all year round to make sure every morsel you'll taste during your stay will get those tastebuds tingling.
During your catered chalet holiday you'll be served up some scrumptious treats, hearty meals and delicious locally sourced wine! You will receive a three course evening meal with unlimited red, white or rosé wine (6 days), with an additional 4th course of local cheese board with port on the Thursday evening.
A lovely start to the week, on arrival in your chalet, handmade pre-dinner canapes and aperitifs will be served to you in the lounge whilst your chalet host welcomes you to your chalet and introduces you to the resort.
Start your day with a delicious cooked breakfast that includes bacon, eggs, beans or hash browns and mushrooms or tomatoes plus a selection of cereals, porridge, yogurts and fresh bread. Served 8am to 9am 4 days a week.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings, a self-service breakfast will be laid out for you consisting of cereal, yoghurts, pastries and fruit.
Scrumptious homemade cakes and a choice of teas are provided every day, best enjoyed while you relax in the lounge area in front of the log fire.

To compliment your meal we serve free and unlimited good quality red, white and rosé wines during the course of dinner. After dinner, fresh ground coffee or decaffeinated coffee as well as tea is served in the lounge.
This operator strives to ensure that your specific dietary requirements and preferences are catered for as best they can. Please let us know at least 14 days prior to your holiday start date, to ensure that this is possible. Chalet teams can cater for special dietary requirements be they for medical reasons, religious reasons or simply personal preference. Chalet hosts will be advised of these requirements in advance of your stay and every effort will be made to ensure that they are met. However, we cannot guarantee that certain ingredients will not be in the environment nor can we guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur.
Children aged 11 and under will be served High Tea at around 6pm. This is provided at no extra cost and ensures that your child's normal routine is not disturbed: soft drinks or milk are served with the meal. It also ensures that adults can enjoy their evening meal, which is served at 7.30pm. If you have booked a whole chalet then you can eat together - please speak to your chalet hosts on arrival.
An Alpine chalet is a wonderful place to spend the festive season. This operator provides Christmas trees and decorations. On the day itself, you can look forward to aperitifs, turkey with all the trimmings, flaming Christmas pudding, mince pies, and of course, Christmas crackers. For New Year most of our resorts will have torch-lit descents, fireworks and other celebrations. Alternatively, you could just enjoy New Year's Eve dinner in your chalet with a glass or two of fizz.
Your chalet hosts will have the day off all day on Wednesdays and Thursday mornings.
