Le Malamute Morzine, France
Apartment Le Malamute, named after the beautiful artwork in the living room of 2 wolf like dogs, is a stunning luxury 4 bedroom apartment sleeping 8-10 guests, a 10 minute walk from Pleney telecabine and Morzine centre.
The apartment is on the second floor which means it has vaulted ceilings in the living /dining area and superb views from the large terrace. There is a jacuzzi on the balcony so you can enjoy an après ski dip and take in the stunning mountain views.
There are 3 twin/double en suite bedrooms plus a family suite which is made up of a twin/double bedroom and then a separate bunkbed room, these 2 adjoining rooms share a shower room. All the beds can be made up as twin beds or put together to make a king size double bed.
There are 3 shower rooms and one bathroom, as well as an additional communal toilet & sink and they are all beautifully finished.
La piece de resistance though must be the open plan kitchen/living room with the vaulted ceiling, and stunning views and beautiful decor. We love the oval oak dining table and the super comfy sofas centered around the wood burner.
Practicalities such as a storeroom for skis and boots with drying racks for wet ski gear and heated boot warmers for ski & snowboard boots, a laundry room and an underground car parking space make for a holiday that is easy and relaxing.
Le Malamute is spread over one floor, with three of the four bedrooms coming off the central hallway. At the end of the hall, you enter the open plan living, dining and kitchen area. Bedroom number four is accessed via the kitchen.
The apartment is in the centre of Morzine, just a 10 minute walk from the shops and Pleney telecabine
Tourist Tax - A €1.5-€3pp per day tourist tax will be added at the time of booking.
The advantage of booking a self-catered skiing holiday is often the price. The disadvantages mean either eating out, which in a ski resort is often expensive, or it means having to cook your own meals, which probably means less time skiing, and who really wants to shop and then cook an evening meal after a full days skiing?
Huski, the Alps-based catering business offers a great solution, that means you can still enjoy the great value of a ski apartment or self-catered chalet and eat well without the fuss of having to cook your own food.
Huski delivers a week’s worth of dishes, freshly frozen and ready for you to just heat and serve.
Huski catering is only available to properties in French ski resorts.
