The Chalet L'Ancolie is a traditional and characterful property set in a quiet location back from the main street. The owner is an expert carpenter and he has done most of the interior wood panelling himself, ensuring a high attention to detail with many delightful features.
Set over three floors and decorated in a traditional Savoyard style with cosy, warm and welcoming furnishings you have all the comforts of home. The chalet has five bedrooms with wood panelling which really adds to the Alpine feel of the chalet, all bedrooms have en-suite facilities and a balcony or terrace with amazing views across the Meribel Valley.
After a day of exploring the Three Valleys relax in front of the fireplace with a coffee and some cake, where the comfy seating provides a haven to unwind. There's also a sauna on the ground floor so you can revitalise after a day on the mountain. The chalet also has a heated ski and boot room.
As the chalet is set back from the main street, you benefit from being in a peaceful and quiet location. A walk to the resort centre takes around ten minutes, if you fancy a stroll before or after dinner, where you can find a variety of shops, bars and restaurants to keep you entertained.
Access to the slopes is easy, the bus stop for the free ski bus is just one minute's walk away (50m) and the bus runs throughout the day with additional services at peak times. For your added convenience, our ski hire partners provide a transfer to and from the shop for the fitting and collection of skis, boots and boards.
Throughout your holiday, your chalet hosts are on hand to help you with anything you might need. On six of the seven days of the week, the chalet hosts prepare delicious homemade food, including a cooked breakfast, afternoon tea snacks, and a three-course dinner with wine. On staff day off the hosts will leave a continental breakfast out and you are free to spend the evening however you'd like . In addition to preparing and serving your meals, the hosts will keep the chalet tidy for the duration of your stay.
Chalet hosts - Our chalet hosts are on hand to make your stay enjoyable, look forward to freshly prepared meals six days a week and relax knowing the tidying up is done for you - after all you are on holiday.
Ideal for groups - As the chalet sleeps up to ten to eleven people it is the perfect place for a group of friends or a family who want to spend time together.
Close to resort - Benefiting from being set back more the main street means the chalet is slightly more secluded, however it is only a short walk to the resort centre where you can find plenty of shops, restaurants and bars.
Families with children are welcome all season when the chalet is booked for sole occupancy. If you are booking by the room then children are welcome during the holiday periods (Christmas, New Year, Half Term and Easter).
A High Tea is provided for children under 11 years old with a menu more suited to their taste. If you have booked sole occupancy then the children can join adult dinner and eat off the adult menu but please advise us in advance.

Our menu is changing for the better. In all of our chalets we're giving you more choice, with both meat-free and meat options on offer throughout your stay. This is driven as part of our commitment to reduce our carbon footprint.
