Beginners skiing in La Thuile
On their first day, beginners will start on the two easy slopes, served by a draglift and button lift, at village level or on the runs at Les Suches, which are located at higher level.
Intermediates skiing in La Thuile
This must be one of the most extensive areas in the Aosta Valley for intermediates. The link between La Thuile and La Rosiere is by way of a chairlift at Col de la Traversette.
Advanced skiing in La Thuile
With a total of 11 black runs, 6 on the Italian side and 5 on the French, there is plenty of scope for the more experienced. Add to this some fine off-piste areas above the Piccolo St Bernard pass and the possibility of heli-skiing on the Rutor glacier and the better skier will relish the many challenges in this extensive area.

To ski in La Thuile means skiing on more than 150 km of slopes, always perfectly groomed and surrounded by one of the most beautiful valleys in the Alpine region. On one side, the legendary Mont Blanc and the majestic Mount Rutor on the other accompany the skier everywhere. Travelling down any slope, these two marvellous mountains make their presence felt.
Snowboarding in La Thuile
La Thuile is a bit of a gem just down the road from Courmayeur. It has loads of off-piste opportunities especially on the La Rosiere side. The San Bernado chair is worth a look. Head for a helicopter if you want the ultimate powder fix.
Après ski in La Thuile
There are several unpretentious bars for a jolly and informal evening. La Bricole pub and the Discoteca Fantasia at the Planibel complex are very popular.
